Salty Sam’s Marina

Fort Myers Beach, Florida

A once nondescript marina was transformed into a local landmark.

The owners wanted a second floor addition over the existing building to house offices and a conference room. These second floor rooms step out onto a covered porch overlooking the marina and create a shaded walkway below.

The Tiki bar is vibrantly painted to evoke the feel of the islands. It has three fully venting cupolas along the entire length of the building. This is truly a fun filled bar with high ceilings and an unobstructed view of the marina and Hurricane Bay beyond.

This is an Old Florida style retail/office center with interior courtyards to be constructed at the village center at Stringfellow and Pine Island road on Pine Island. The Greater Pine Island Civic Association has fully endorsed this project as an example of what they wish to promote in terms of aesthetics and massing for the island. It is hoped that projects like this will reduce traffic by providing shopping and jobs on Pine Island.
